Festive Celebrations on the Knowledge and Student Youth Day
10On September 1, along with all educational institutions of our country, Magtymguly Turkmen State University celebrated Knowledge and Student Youth Day in a festive manner.
A festive event was held on the square in front of the academic building of the Faculty of Chemistry of our university. At the festive ceremony, first of all, the Congratulatory Address of our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read. During the ceremony, professors and teachers of our higher education institution, first-year students, made their speeches. It is also worth mentioning the nspiring songs, dances, literary and musical compositions, and artistic readings performed by students. Then the first bell rang, heralding the beginning of the new — 2025-2026 academic year.
The first lesson of the new academic year was held under the title "International Year of Peace and Trust". The lectures conducted by experienced teachers provided a detailed overview of the achievements being achieved in our beloved Motherland in 2025.
New specialties that meet the requirements of the times are being introduced in higher education institutions of our country. In this regard, regular work is being carried out at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, which will acquire a new content in the International Year of Peace and Trust. In connection with the introduction of international standards into the national education system, our country is increasingly expanding cooperation with the United Nations in the humanitarian sphere. Turkmenistan also conducts joint work with other relevant UN agencies. Numerous events organized by Magtymguly Turkmen State University are a vivid example of this. Among them are student exchanges with representatives of UN agencies in our country and international experts, workshops, special exhibitions, conferences, and meetings organized in the form of a "round table" on important issues of the world agenda.
