The international scientific-practical conference has begun
92Today, on April 17, the opening ceremony and plenary session of the international online scientific-practical conference “The role of international peace and trust in the study and protection of cultural heritage” were held at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
The international scientific and practical conference is attended by professors, teachers and scientists from 69 higher educational institutions and research institutes of the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Italy, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Cameroon, the Federal Republic of Germany, Georgia, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
The Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Affairs, Hero of Turkmenistan Chynar Rustemova, Rector of the Ankara University of Social Sciences, Professor Musa Kazim Aryjan, Rector of the National University of Modern Languages of Pakistan, Major General Shahid Mahmud Kayani, Professor of the UNESCO Chair of the Faculty of Global Processes of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Cultural Studies Vladimir Bazhukov, and Head of the Turkish Organization of Turks and Related Societies Abroad Abdullah Eren made speeches at the plenary session, highlighting the importance of national heritage in developing public awareness and the role of UNESCO chairs in strengthening trust and peace between countries and peoples.

At the end of the plenary session of the international conference, the participants expressed their gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tireless work in protecting our national heritage and passing it on to future generations.
