“Teacher of the Year” - from our university!
474On June 14, at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the state competition “Teacher of the Year – 2023” organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
According to the results of the competition, the best seven teachers were awarded. Thus, the title of “Teacher of the Year” and the main prize of the competition was awarded to Mahri Perdeliyeva, interim head of the department of archeology and ethnology of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, teacher, candidate of historical sciences.
Aygozel Arlanova, a senior teacher of the Department of Digital Economy of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, won the first prize, Merdan Amanov, a senior teacher of the Languages Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, and Meretguly Gurbanov, a teacher of the Theory and Practice of Translation Department of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, won the second place.
The third place is Maral Sahetgeldiyeva, the head of the department of the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, candidate of philological sciences, Movlamguly Hezretov, senior teacher of the department of legal training of the State Border Service Institute of Turkmenistan , candidate of legal sciences, Bahargul Yakubova, senior teacher of the department of history of music of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, Meretmat Meretmadov, senior teacher of the diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases department of the Turkmen Institute of Agriculture, won the third place.
The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
