The international scientific conference was held
245On June 26, at Magtymguly Turkmen State University international scientific conference entitled “The Period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State and Magtymguly Pyragy” organized by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was held. More than 300 scientists from the Republic of South Korea, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of India, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kingdom of Spain, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Kingdom of Lebanon, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Armenia and other countries as well as from our country participated at the conference.
The international scientific conference first continued its work at the general session. At its opening ceremony, the congratulation of the honorable President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants of the international scientific conference was read. Then the particpants listened to the presentations of a large group of scientists from several foreign countries.
The work of the session “Pyragy and Arkadag are a lighthouse to hearts” of the international scientific conference continued at the International University for the Humanities and Development, the session “Magtymguly and his time” – at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the session “Magtymguly and Eastern literature” – at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the session “Magtymguly’s world of poetry” – at the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, the session “Humaneness in Magtymguly’s creativity” was continued at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The participants who delivered speech at the conference told that Magtymguly Pyragy, the great son of the Turkmen people and the classic poet of Eastern literature is respected by the peoples of the world, that the poetic world of the great thinker has become the Turkmen philosophy, the voice of the Turkmen soul, and the unbreakable pillar of the Turkmen spirit. They also emphasized that his beautiful poems are full of strong wisdom, sweet sentiments to love humanity, strong thoughts about a fair society, a happy life, and calls for strengthening the principles of integrity, freedom, humanism, and statehood.
At the same time the works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the collections of poems by Magtymguly Pyragy published in different years, the collections of monographs, books, manuals, scientific articles and abstracts of papers of scientific conferences written by Turkmen scientists in the study of the creative world of our great thinker, values of fine and applied arts were exhibited in the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
At the closing ceremony of the international scientific conference, the participants accepted an address to our Esteemed President.
