Our student Akgozel Yagmyrova - the winner of the beauty contest “Student Beauty – 2024”
168On March 5, at the cultural and business center of the Turkmengaz state concern, on the occasion of International Women’s Day the final round of the beauty contest “Student beauty – 2024” was held among the female students of higher educational institutions of the country, announced by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organization, and the Central Council of the Women’s Association.
The final stage of the beauty contest, which was held in order to reveal the work ability, ambition, spirit, beauty of character and manners, knowledge of the national traditions of the people, preparation for life, culture, and decency of the student girls of the period of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, was absorbingly interesting. It was attended by 23 female students who managed to advance in the preliminary stages of higher educational institutions of our country.
In the first term, the students performed songs, poems, and monologues expressing the spirit of the year “The Ocean of Wisdom – Magtymguly Pyragy”, and the tribute shown to the Turkmen women. The core of the second term was about showing their abilities by preparing the Turkmen national meal unash taking as a basis the book “Bereketli Turkmen sachagy prepared by great efforts of our hero Arkadag. The third term called “Hunarim bar – hormatym bar” was related to revealing the skill of the art of embroidering, which is part of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind of UNESCO.
Thus, according to the results of the jury, Akgozel Yagmyrova, a 3rd-year student of mathematics faculty of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, won the grand prize and was declared the winner of the “Student Beauty – 2024” beauty contest.
Prize winners and active participants in the competition were awarded valuable gifts and Diplomas by the organizers.
