Students’ life
2417Cultural center “Melodies of Happiness” operates at the university. Its music group, “Diyar” girls’ dance group, “Kyrk gyz” gopuz players group, dutar players group, folklore group are actively participating in the festivities in our country with their modern and folk songs performed with dances.
The students of the higher education institution participate and win prize-winning places in competitions on the state level and in competitions such as “Student Beauty Contest” among student girls jointly organized by the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan on occasion of the International Women’s Day, “Happy braves of the Prosperous State” among student boys of universities on the occasion of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and academic contest “Student of the Year” jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
